I'd actually like only one device under the TV, although I have two (sky+ and the minimac) swapping the minimac out for a appleTV plus a seperate DVD player would work, but I'd still rather just have a nice simple setup.. DVD is a dying format, but unfortunately stuff still comes on DVD and you need a player, unless you're happy to encode and store. You can get a nice upscaling one for less than £50 now and the dvd format is on borrowed time anyway.
